On the 4/5 '93, a physical water treatment system was installed here at the MD FOODS Dairy plant in Brabrand for a performance test on one of our evaporating cooling towers, which in the coiler was 50% closed with lime scale deposits, despite the use of water softening and, the use of chemical dosage to remove/prevent scale formations.
In connection with the installation of the system, the chemical dosage was removed and we changed to ordinary well water supply, which in our Aarhus-area has a hardness degree of 20-22 dH (357-393 ppm).
Already after few days of operation with the system, a visual result was seen, the scale deposits was reduced and after 2 month is the condenser almost free from deposits.
There is a significant saving of operating costs:
1. Improved cooling effect
2. Less power consumption
3. No chemical consumption
4. No softening of the make-up water
Therefore can I only recommend the Aqua Correct system to its best.
