Cooling Tower Make-up Water Conditioning

Physical make-up water treatment for evaporating cooling towers is standard in more than 3500 plants in Europe. It is chemical free, saves costs, is environmentally safe and without polution. Easy to install on the water supply. A effective preventing of disposals. It is the future alternative to use fo chemicals treatment in all evaporating cooling towers.

The problem:  

50% closed coiler by lime stone deposits in a cooling tower and in spite of costly chemical dosages. Poor cooling, high compressor energy and pollution. Water hardness: 20 degree = 380 PPM

The solution:

  

 Cooling tower: 1 1/4" physical conditioner on the supply water. Concentration of mineral salt automatic controlled by water conductivity measurement. No use of chemicals (physical water treatment only).
The results:  


Within few days's solid disposals was dissolved and after 3 month fully removed form the coiler. Economical advantages: All chemical cost saved, less compressor energy by better heat exchange, and a total pollution free treatment.
