physical water contitioning and automatic draining: The AQUA CORRECT conditioner is installed on the make up water supply. The automatic conductivity limit controll processor is mounted on the wall. The conductivity measuring sensor is installed in the lower part of the water tank. Draining is performed at the very bottom of the tank by a pipeline with constant fall to earth and opened and closed by a magnet valve, when the water conductivity reach the set limit values. |

Chemical Free Cooling Tower Water Conditioning & Deposit Prevention Treatment .
Physical water conditioning in cooling tower is to be prefered as an alternative to chemical treatment for environmental and corrosion reasons. Physical treatment system is installed in thousands of cooling towers and has proven exelent result by dissolving and preventing scale formations in evaporation cooling towers.
The difference between the two methods to be observed: The chemical procedure requires a pH- neutral balance and the physical a water conductivity balance. The chemical dosage limit and physical energy limit is proportional, but not the impact on the environmental and costs involved.
By evaporation of water the concentration of mineral salts increase. Draining to remove these impurities is therefore neccessary and an important part of the treatment (valid for chemical as well as physical conditioning). The limit of accepted concentration is defined in international recommendation.
General about physical water conditioning:
In the industry the reduction of the water surface tension often is far more important, than the lime scale and deposit treatment. This is due to the physical nature of water. The reduction of the water binding forces by only few % may save up to 50% chemicals and, still obtain the same effective reaction and results in the production line.
Phosphor used to be a detergent (tenside) in laundering washing soaps, but is dangerous to the environment and natural water systems. Other chemicals, replacing phosphor, may be harmless and biologically degradable however they are less effective to bind the content of calcium in hard water. With AQUA CORRECT the dossage of such types of chemical may be reduced or totally avoided.
Pre-reducing the water surface tension and thereby saving substantial chemical additives is a contribution to less environmental water pollution and chemical cost savings.. The AQUA CORRECT system is a technical improvement reducing the water surface tension by 10%, without use of chemicals.
